Two words: SO EPIC. And also hands down one of the best fics I've read in quite a while (good thing I checked Miracle today), but I think 'so epic' about sums it up ^.^ This was incredibly well-written (like, seriously), and the characterizations fit in with the AU perfectly. The deadpan-ish humor in the midst of the more serious/dramatic bits was great as well: For New Year’s, Sungmin had made a drunken and inadvisable resolution to stop having casual sex with so many people—not necessarily because he felt that casual sex was wrong, but because he was sort of prone to grand but ultimately meaningless gestures while drunk. *snickers* And oh look- B.A.P.! :D My sister has been totally fangirling over them and Yongguk/Himchan, so it was a pleasant surprise to see them (~Waaaaaaarrior~). In addition to the wonderfulness that is the slow journey of Kyuhyun and Sungmin getting together (and it's wonderful because it's slow and full of complications), I really enjoyed the Heemin friendship- it's amusing to see them go at each other (and it doesn't hurt that Heechul's my bias and I adore his personality in here) XD But my favorite part (with Jungmo's failed date being a close second) is Sungmin's phone call to Siwon. I find it endearing of Siwon to sincerely give Sungmin love advice that late at night, especially considering how they're not that close and, ah, the little shower incident. Siwonnie is so sweet~ And I thought that the hopeful ending worked very well with the overall story, much better than a completely happy ending would've since it's unlikely that Sungmin would be able to change that quickly. So yeah, excellent job, and I loved it! ^.^ <3
